Why were they here? Outrage as hate preachers visit Scotland on day Asad Shah's killer is sentenced
TWO Pakistani clerics who hailed an Islamist assassin spoke in Scotland on the day a killer inspired by him was jailed for murdering a shopkeeper.

As Tanveer Ahmed was jailed for 27 years for the murder of Asad Shah, Muhammad Naqib ur Rehman and Hassan Haseeb ur Rehman appeared at Masjid E Khizra mosque in Govanhill, Glasgow .
They spoke to Muslims hours after Ahmed appeared at the High Court in the city to be
sentenced.
Both men have praised killer Mumtaz Qadri, whose teachings inspired Ahmed, 32.
In a social media post after Qadri’s execution in January, Haseeb ur Rehman said: “Every person who loves Islam and Prophet is in grief for the martyrdom of Mumtaz Qadri.”
Pictures apparently show both clerics at Qadri’s funeral in Rawalpindi, Pakistan in March.
